This unique New Zealand pōhutukawa design consists of a basic tea cosie made with doubled 8ply yarn using a very simple 12 row pattern. The additional pōhutukawa flowers and leaves are created as separate pieces. With the cosie placed on the tea cosie, the pieces are each pinned, then sewn in place. There are illustrations provided to assist with sewing the flowers and leaves in place.
