This pretty tea cosie pattern is primarily worked in an easy 4 row pattern of seed stitch using doubled 8 ply yarn. Both these cosies used a yarn with a twinkle or sparkle, plus a plain matching yarn. This gives the cosies a subtle shimmer.
This tea cosie is made up of two identical pieces which join to complete the top section of the cosie, and are sewn together at the top and bottom, leaving openings for the handle and spout of your teapot.
It has six simple flowers made in garter or knit stitch. A great way to use up any yarn scraps you may have lying around. The flowers are arranged around the central top of the cosie. They are attached to the cosie with miscellaneous buttons.
