Fluffy monster toy knitting pattern in 8 ply

These cheeky soft toy monsters have caused a stir around the place with everyone!  They both looked hilarious driving around in my car for photo shoots. Seat belts were worn of course!  I have used both fluffy and standard 8 ply to create the textured surface. The shape makes the monster a toy you can just wrap your arms around and have a lovely cuddle. The green monster is my prototype. Some visiting school children, at my workplace, named it Beastie. Beastie has a much more fluffy face, however I found the fluffy texture was difficult to embroider, so I edited the pattern. The second monster, who is orange and unnamed at present, represents the final pattern. You should find it easier to sew and to see the monster’s face more clearly.
