A work colleague asked if I could create the White Rabbit for their Alice in Wonderland themed scavenger hunt. In short time, I created a little white rabbit. From that little guy, I’ve made some design improvements resulting in these cuddly white rabbits with long, flapping, coloured ears. The perfect friend for a toddler!
Suitable for a knitter with some experience with making soft toys.
The rabbit measures 30-32 cm in height.
Yarn (I used 8 ply acrylic yarn for these toys) :
1 x 50g 8 ply Main colour (body)
1 x 25g 8 ply Contrast colour (ears)
1 x 50g 8 ply Contrast colour (Jacket)
Needles and other things needed:
4mm & 3.75mm needles
Length of black wool for eyes
Stuffing
Wool needle
